Participant Perspective: Victor Onalik

Hello! Hi my name is Victor T. Onalik Jr. I am from small community called Noatak, which is located 50 miles above the Arctic Circle. I am 17 years old, young. I am currently a Senior at Napaaaqtugmiut High School Lynx. Napaaqtugmiut means "Home of the trees". I traveled to Bethel, Alaska for the AYEA Summer Training "Getting Creative 'Bout REAL FOOD". Its been a great experience to learn about food and gaining new skills. Getting to know about Bethel and its culture is AWESOME :) So its been a good week so far.
